OUR THEFT GUARANTEE 1 €

During your outings on the Ile de Ré with Mathilde's bikes, our cycles are your responsibility. To take a stroll on the island with a light spirit, Les Vélos de Mathilde offers a guarantee against theft in the amount of € 1 / rental day / rented cycle. Thanks to this guarantee, in the event of theft, you will be billed a simple flat-rate compensation (comfort bike: € 200 - high-end bike: € 300 - electric bike: € 1000 - Fat Bike: € 1600 - children's bike: € 150 - Trailer / Tracker: 200 €).

If your bike has been stolen, we invite you to come and inform us at the store - 8 avenue Victor Bouthillier in St Martin - within 24 hours. The following documents will be required: rental contract for the stolen bicycle + copy of the theft declaration (which you can make at the gendarmerie of St Martin de Ré. This must mention the reference of the stolen bicycle).

If you do not wish to take out this guarantee, in the event of theft, we will be obliged to ask you to pay an amount equal to the full market value in new condition of the stolen equipment.

For all motorized bikes the guarantee is 3 € / rental day / rented cycle.
